Terms of Service
Last updated September 29, 2026
These terms apply when you use Sling Education's website or Sling Slang. By using either service, you agree to these terms.
Using our services
You may use the Sling Education website and Sling Slang for personal, lawful purposes. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass usage limits, or use it to violate another person's rights.
Language information
Language changes quickly. Sling Slang is an educational reference, and entries may evolve as new sources and usage become available. It is not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
Subscriptions and renewal
Sling Slang Plus is an auto-renewing annual subscription. The price shown in the app is provided by the App Store for your region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and the subscription renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
Ads and free lookups
The free version may include rewarded advertising and a limited number of lookups. Availability of ads and free lookups may vary, and watching an eligible ad adds the number of searches shown in the app.
Intellectual property
Sling Education owns the service design, software, branding, and original editorial material. Words, phrases, quotations, trademarks, and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Availability and changes
We may improve, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the services. We work to keep them useful and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sling Education is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the services. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
